Goal

In portuguese, the word "meta" means goal. Not intentionally, "meta" could be acronym that reveals a interesting meaning.
M
points to "mensurável" that means like measurable, the idea is that you need have numeric parameters to compare how near or far you are from your goal.
E points to "específico" is a cognate word to specific. The goal can not be vague. You need have clear goal to reach.
T points to "temporal" that relative to time and indicate period of time. The pursuit for goal can not be forever. You need reach it in a defined period of time.
A points to "alcançável" that means like a reachable. The goal can not be impossible to reach it. You must reach anyhow.
This meanings lead us the goal must sounds like: I will read 25 books in one year.
Mensurável = 25 books;
Específico = read 25 books;
Temporal = one year;
Alcançável = 25 books (2 per month aprox.).

I´m very glad because I set a goal to team and the teamates make it real. Our goal was have no defeats by timeouts and make 480 points in 2 months (November and December) . Unfortunately, we have 2 timeouts until now, but and we have 490 points. It´s very good and I´m proud of the team.

Now I ask suggestions about the next goal. Would anyone suggest something ?

  1. I don't know about what team goal we could have, but I looked over my games and I noticed that most of my losses are due to blunders and obvious mistakes (sometimes even when I have an advantage) and timeouts (sorry). Usually the blunders come from times in which I decide to move too quickly without looking at the consequences enough. And I could've avoided the timeouts I got. So I'll try to work on that. I have my meta. :)
